Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 16
Word count: 13,434
Not as much as I would have hoped. I was hoping to reach 15K. Alas, instead I ended up wasting half of the day not writing.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 15
Word count: 12,718
Look! I actually wrote something! Over 2K written yesterday. Wow, I wish I could do the same thing today but I’ve already wasted half of the day. I guess we’ll see how it goes.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 10
Word count: 10,536
The story is definitely picking up and getting more interesting. And I finally reached 10K!

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 11
Word count: 10,536
I was surprisingly busy that day, hence why I didn’t write any.

An update on Camp Nanowrimo...
Yes, I’m still doing it but haven’t been able to write very much over the past few days because I’ve been busy with a lot of activities like work and shows. I’m still planning on doing my daily word count so I might just have to catch up on posting those. Hoping by later today I can write some more.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 9
Word count: 9,702
I was SO close to getting to 10K. Alas, I went past the midnight hour. The story’s getting interesting so far. Kind of skipping around a bit and writing the parts that come more easily at the time. It’s definitely helping.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 8
Word count: 8,000
At least I got a little bit written even though it wasn’t ideal by any means. Kind of skipping around now instead of writing like I normally do in a linear way. Maybe this will help gather my thoughts for later chapters.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 7
Word count: 7,473
Yeah, I got nothing for why I didn’t get very much written today. Clearly I can only write well when I’m at home. If I’m away from my writing space I get distracted.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 6
Word count: 7,018
MAJOR writing fail today. I was gone most of the day but when I was on my computer I only wrote a few words and didn’t even update the word count. Honestly, I could have made it to yesterday’s par if I had tried, but I was unsuccessful.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 5
Word count: 7,018
Considering I stayed up a little after midnight to reach 7K I did pretty well. The rest of the day I was without access to a laptop. Going to gradually catch up today.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 4
Word count: 6,678
Started the second chapter today which felt good considering the first chapter was about ten pages long. Again, didn’t write as much as I had hoped but I’m still ahead of the par. Though, I fear that’ll change tomorrow when I won’t have access to my laptop the entire day. Guess I’ll be writing manually tomorrow.

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 3
Word count: 5,035
I appear to be ever so slightly ahead of the average words per day now. Hopefully I can maintain that for the entire month. I had hoped to write more today but I got distracted by other things which kept me from writing more. But I at least made my goal of getting to 5,000 today.

Wow, I actually got ahead of the game! This makes me very happy. Let’s hope I can do the same for today.

jade-cooper said: So what are you going to write about?
So far I have this idea where there’s a group of seven people, around college age, who put on shows in this abandoned theatre and one night gets an audience with this guy who calls himself the Keeper of Dreams. He gives them all a warning that one of them will have a nightmare that will transport all of...

Camp Nanowrimo 2013 - Day 1
I know it’s technically the 2nd but I figured I’d make a progress report the morning after.
Word count: 378
Okay, yeah, I said I was going to write tons because I had a genuine idea floating about but in the end I was just too tired once I started writing that I barely wrote a page. I feel like I need to catch up like no other today in order to make the writing goal.

To Read 50 Books A Year
Huzzah! I’ve just finished reading my second book of the year. I was a little behind in my goal so I read a play which went by pretty quickly. Still, every bit counts.
Books I’ve read so far:
1. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1/15) 2. Next To Normal (1/20)
